I grew up in Danville, Virginia, and began formal piano instruction at the age of eight and organ lessons at the age of 16. I accompanied choruses and participated in concert band and orchestra through my middle school and high school years. While earning my B.S. degree in Accounting at Virginia Tech, I accompanied the Wesley Singers, an outreach ministry of the Wesley Foundation. In 2003, I was featured on the “Wesley Singer’s 30th Anniversary” recording. I served as organist at Calvary UMC and Stokesland Baptist Church in Danville, and Chapel Hill United Church of Christ in Louisville, Kentucky. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and three children. |
