Purpose:  Becoming United in Ministry with Christ

Mission:  Individually, and as a church family, we seek to know Jesus Christ and to apply his word in our lives. As a family of God, we will reach out and welcome all persons to celebrate and experience God's presence in fellowship, study, worship, and service. Empowered by God's love, we will learn from Him and nourish his children for a life of discipleship.

Vision:  Bonsack United Methodist Church is where God’s love is revealed to all of God’s children and where each is encouraged to relate and respond to God’s presence through Jesus Christ.
 

The United Methodist Church’s Mission Statement calls us “to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World,” and BUMC is proud to do all we can to live up to such a mission.  The centerpiece of who we are is Jesus Christ, and Jesus went into the world to reveal a way of living where all were welcomed and invited to be a part of God’s Kingdom.  All are welcome and invited to experience God’s love here!
